Yea i saw that, but we usually score a few against these and of late Accy have scored a few against us but we have usually won,i just feel a clean sheet is due and i can't see Accy staying at the top end of the table in all reality,we will start climbing the table now, fingers crossed we don't now lose

Let's not expect a walk over, a town win of any kind for me.
Come on you blues!

Wont be an easy game - Stanley play 5 in the middle, and press the ball well. We need an early goal, hopefully from Richards just to settle things and put them on the back foot, force them to open the game up a bit.
I also think we will win by 1 goal.

Accy have developed into a great footballing side, anyone would think Brendan Rogers went from Swansea to Accrington in the summer, not Liverpool. Given tonights showing I'd think there's a fair chance they'll stay in the play off zone all season, they play a simple game, don't take risks that result in them losing the ball and appear to have brought in some good players for this level, they are a joy to watch and show what can be done on a small budget if the right people are in place and time is given for the transformation. No big names in their side, but very good at what they do. I think we can learn from them, instead of playing the quick and often long passes that go astray keep things simple, get into space and make the opposition chase you around the pitch. Even at 10 men they played like they have a man spare.
I do wonder if the extra training we've been doing recently worked against us tonight as most of our players looked tired in the second half, perhaps our lack of preparation going into the season, the lack of training under JS and now training for longer is making our players tired due to having to play Saturday and then Tuesday. I'm sure the extra training will help in the long run as our players get used to it again, and they become sharper and things like passing improve but tonight we were passengers for large parts.
Thank god for Jack, hope he can keep going for a few years yet, it's going to be hard to replace him. Also looks like he may have to be utilised more than intended with that injury to Richards, wonder if TW will try to get in a striker before the weekend.
One other thing is the defence, on saturday if it wasn't for that own goal we'd probably have got a clean sheet, tonight was a different matter. O'Donnell has looked better than last seasons reserve keepers, but he's shipping more goals than Tommy was before his injury, can't blame all the goals on O'D, but depsite Tommy's lack of clean sheets he does seem to be the better of the two. I'd like to think in time we sign another centre back, we desperately need competition for places at the back, give the defenders a reason to keep at the top of their game and someone to bring on if Trotman or Hird are having a bad game.
