Even though we got a lesson in football tonight ... we're so close to having a decent team!
Please please please ....
a) replace Bowery with a proper all the bells and whistle's target man (I would have said this even without the injury to Richards);
b) sign a decent left winger and right winger (although I'd be happy to see Darikwa given an extended run);
c) circulate the names of Westcarr, Talbot ... etc

We'll have to disagree - he's like Mendy - a winger with no end product.

At least he doesn't tell people to watch other teams when they don't agree with him....
The only thing that annoys me about RPL is is allott and whittaker bashing and the repetative threads, some of his stuff is pretty good usually and he seems to know more about football than you Dema

The most ironic thing is he supports Manchester United. Unbelievable, really.

He's been one of the best players we've had in the last 5 years, he's clearly taking time to get used to playing on the wing again.
Sometimes people say that when a manager plays a player out of position it ruins them, Talbot seems to have spent that long at full back that he's forgot how to play on the eing, it will come to him, he's not that bad, keep the faith - or rather have some faith and a little more patience, he can't become a bad player just like that. Currently his crosses are like that of a full back - once he readjusts to being on the wing he'll be back to his old self.
Agree we need a replacement for Bowery - now that Richards looks like he'll be out long term, but also Boden isn't good enough to replace Jack and/or Richards every game, we need one more striker, but then it's easy to just go out and sign anyone isn't it. Maybe Wright would rather sign someone who will actually be the player we need.

I would think the most frustrated person with his game is Drew Talbot.
The way he crosses the ball appears to be a habit he's developed. Hopefully now he's training for more than two hours he will get there soon.
I don't think Tenday is the answer just yet, I'd much rather him replace Westcarr (in the side) if EE can't get fit, Westcarr is a bit of a luxury and doesn't look worth the £70k Sheridan paid for him.
Having said that though Westcarr will probably have to play upfront if TW can't find a player to replace Richards. This could be good for Westy though, he can score goals after all.

Perhaps it would be more simple to replace one with a new CB, preferably over six foot
Has anyone ever seen someone less suitable to playing CB than Hird and ever seen someone less suitable to being a footballer than Trotters?

Drew is getting worse every game. Shocking on Saturday and worse last night. No better than Mendy who people slated on here the difference is Mendy had pace and when he had the ball is was really hard to get off him. Mendy in this league would without doubt terrorize some defenses. Whereas Drew just doesn't. Crosses the ball without ever looking up then puts his head in his hands. Really poor this season so far
