10200 less 2100 away end less 900(?) in the East Wing stand leaves 7200 capacity? 73% sold is approx 5200 so far plus walk ups and WWFC, which would be make it a bigger home support than Rotherham which would be strange.

i drive myself mad trying to fathom the % online sales to actual attendance! ... the % on the fri neet before the millers game was showing late 80's ..88/89% and look what that actually resulted in. I also think like someone else has already mentioned that the school offer folk are in the far side of the west as its never anywhere near the % its currently showing

When tickets first go on sale for a game the site shows 61% so assuming we have 3500 season ticket holders I'd.know whose estimate I'd back

So has anyone a clearer idea of what figure the ticket percentage is based on, 7200, 6000 or something else entirely?

Because I’m as baffled as I was before the game.

I think the more you look into it the more confusing it will be.

Ask the club to define what the percentges mean.

Are the Sold Tickets actually Sold or Tickets not for Sale
What about the Reserved Seats or unavailable Seats are they classed as Sold?
Where are the 24 missing Seats in the East Stand Family Section
Are Coorporates included in the Sold Seats.

Sections of seats are regularly kept off general sale for various reason, Players comps etc.

Id imagine these are included in the '% sold' figure on the ticket booking website.

Then there was large section of the East Stand cordoned off between fans, again, these would have been 'unavailable'.

Why do people try to read more into stuff like this?

Just 67% of tickets for Accy sold. Could be a low one that. Definitely under 5k.

is it that low though?

We only scraped 6k against them in the Championship season, on the back of 1 defeat in 13!

YES, those sort of figures will equate to the lowest attendance for a league game at the new stadium

Too many of those, and if you had millions invested in the club, you would be very very worried
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Where are the cheapo tickets being sold for? No sign of of em in West or North stand like they werre apparently going to be on Sat. Me thinks its a flop again, should be open to all kids, not just slected schools, and the advertising is almost non existant.

As of 12pm today it says 70% of tickets sold for the Accrington match, so if it is based on 6000 that means 4200 plus away fans and corporate seats, if it’s based on 7200 then it will be 5040 plus away fans. As I doubt they will bring many it will be interesting to see which is closer to the actual number.

They wont even bring 50 tonight, seen they took 56 on Sat to Dagenham.

On Saturday the tickets were in the northern West Stand wing. The take up then was marginally below expectations but the issue was a late decision coming as there were only 6 school days from contact to purchase cut off.

I think tonight's is in the North Stand but numbers look low. Again we were working to very tight time scales and with schools where we had not previously done deals. I am also not certain whether some of the schools ever issued the letters. Part of the process is building partnerships with schools for coaching schemes, in school education projects (such as Respect and What's Your Goal) and then our careers linked services.

We don't advertise the deals as they go to pupils and students so each member of the school gets an offer letter. It is almost certain that offers will be made to other "closed" groups and a couple of wider offers to all.

I was told by a club director that we've sold 4k season tickets, assuming this is correct whatever the figure is shown as when tickets first go on sale will be 4k seats. The maths should be simple to work out from there, so if when tickets first go on sale it says 40% of tickets have been sold you'd know that 10k tickets are available for sale

Do you remember that night though? It was a cold Tuesday night and the heavens had been fully opened with rain for hours prior to the kick off. Was a horrible night and we did well to get 6k. I'd take the same result tonight though.

Attendance figures all come down to us winning. When we are top of the league  a couple of thousand will come out of the woodwork and start acting as if they are loyal supporters and Chesterfield FC are the best thing since sliced bread. But then as soon as they dont get a win every game will be off like a shot. They are only after their own ego trip and not really bothered about the club.

What was the take up on Saturday out of interest? And what is it for tonight? They comparable or differing?

I would think a win will put an extra few on the gate tonight, very doubtful Accrington will bring many so that will level it off, probably somewhere in the region of saturdays gate...
