I would define 4 wins in 19 as mediocrity. Some see it as an achievement.

I would also accept that definite progress has been made, but now is the time to try to re-inforce it, and push on, not engage in congratulatory back-slapping. The job is by no means done.

I honestly think we could be on the brink of real achievement if we truly believe we can do it. An opportunity like this probably won't come along too often, so we should try to grasp it NOW. Not next year, or the year after. We might not be in this position again.

I get the feeling that many on here feel we're not worthy of dining at the top table, that we're at best fleeting visitors. Perhaps more worryingly, I fear the club as a whole believes that. We don't have loads of cash, but since when was that the only currency that ambition can be measured in.

AND one of those "best two strikers" missed yet another golden opportunity according to the reports. How long is it since "one of the best two strikers" scored - 4 months?

I thought that the Chief was one of the "best two strikers"...if so, he's scored recently.

I'd acknowledge that there are 3 or 4 mini divisions within the Premiership based largely upon a club's financial clout. But we're in Div 1 and though there are clear disparities between the haves and the have-nots, I think the playing field is not quite so grotesquely distorted. It's a sad fact that outside the Premiership, the majority of clubs are fighting over the scraps...

Sorry to do this, but I'm pushing all the threads I can find from the last few days where the conspiracy is mentioned but not fully explained. I'm doing it in the hope that the people who believe it will explain it. If not, hopefully it will make them look silly.
