My own take after another embarrassing performance remains the same as in my earlier post - we've got to get back to basics. There's nowt wrong with 'pegging' runs, straightforward batting that picks up ones and twos and amounts to a reasonable run rate, before playing shots when the fielding restrictions allow. Then when we've the ball in hand hit a consistent line and length.
Simplistic perhaps, but there seems to be far too much of an obsession with being innovative at the moment.
