Tony Palladino will definitely be at the game Saturday. Not sure who else will be. Hopefully they get on the pitch at 2.50.

Hassop Hall is a beautiful place - great choice.

Are you honeymooning?

The fact the sun was shining so we could be outside when we first arrived made it all the better! That said its a cracking place anyway and the food was fantastic.

Off to Mauritius on Wednesday but not a honeymoon as such. A good friend of my other half is getting married over there so a load of us going over. We're considering going to NZ next March doing a bit of travelling about and taking in one of the test matches whilst we're there.

Cracking start to England's T20 innings - double wicket maiden.

Shame we're batting.

everyone within a miles radius of the crease must s**t themselves whenever Chris Gayle comes out to start an innings, I would say in limited overs games but he does it in tests too. Gayle is just brutal with his hitting, its fantastic to watch but as a spectator I imagine it can be pretty nervy.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

He is involved at Swarkestone and we had a run in with him when we played them a couple of times. A visit to them he was leathered and shouting off all day and then a game at our place he turned up and ended up playing and was rattling at players despite not batting or bowling!! Generally known as a bit of a XXX in the local area. Also been accused of tapping up some of the academy players to play for Swarkestone which he denies but some folk are adamant its the case. He threatened legal action against a couple of local cricketers and a local cricket forum over some comments on there.

I wasnt doing....Pakistan could just as easy chase 111 in 12 overs and win by 10 wickets in their next game...thats how they are!!

Jon, we are still both in it although I fancy pakistan's chances more. Hope you've not spent all your wedding money!

I saw that earlier, I'm not sure they have strengthened the squad enough yet, but the CEO said that with them coming back so early a few of the targets are hanging back before making a decision (obviously for the extra time off)

Really. I make it five months. Not sure many players are even in the country though.
