As per every winter, we're on the lookout for new players at Hundall CC.

All ages/abilities welcome, winter training starts 16th Feb. We're not too horrible either, so feel free to come along.

Anyone who's interested please get in touch :)

Managed to have an afternoon watching some of Test Match between Sri Lanka and Australia recently as I was passing through Galle. Really enjoyed it, had a good laugh with both sets of supporters and the day ticket only cost ?1.34.

Smith and Carey were on fire at the crease.

Lucky man, Galle almost as stunning a setting as Queens Park.

The balance of the team is all wrong there are three wicketkeepers in the team but only 4 front line bowlers. Whilst it is handy having the part-time spin of Root and Livingstone as back up bowlers the team would be much better with a proper all rounder in the team or a special one day bowler like Chris Jordan.

I'd have a recount of Keepers in the squad, there's 4. Duckett, Smith, Salt & Buttler.
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

Jesus things must be broken if Chris Jordan is the answer?.we haven?t picked three keepers it just happens they are the batting options and can keep as well.

I?m utterly unconvinced by Livingstone. Living on reputation and the odd good innings plus the fact he bowls two types of non spinning spin.

Livingstone is a mystery to me. Hits a long ball (rarely, and who can't?) but is a walking wicket at times.

Spent quite a while living off the fact he managed to hit a big 6 at Headingley that everyone raved about. Odd innings here and there but its not often he gets runs when it matters or at least thats how it seems. Also the manner of his dismissals are annoying rarely being got out as such. Loads seem to think he can bowl both off and leg spin but i'm not convinced either of them are that great either.

I thought the victory at Trent Bridge was sweet but the way they but Leicstershire to the sword today was a joy to watch. Patel was superb. Great to see Donald hitting form at last. A*****.
