As somebody who has grown up with a severly disabled sister this cuts a little too close to the bone for my liking

I have never heard of what you refer to. You're saying he's been taken out of the England squad for reasons other than reported?

*Didn't take much finding and he isn't mocking him necessarily.

I've watched a very short clip.

Rightly or wrongly it doesn't particularly concern me. He's stupid for allowing himself to be filmed and in the cold light of day it's not something you'd be proud of doing for laughs but not much different/worse than you'd get tab hanging many pub conversations.

Unfortunately for Stokes, what is clearly visible on the leaked footage is him conducting a sustained attack. I'm not sure it will fit the legal parameters of 'defence' in any guise.

Let's not also forget, this is not the first time his personal conduct has been brought into question. Silly, silly boy.

Has Ballance got pictures of Root with a dog or something?

Ballance is a big mate of his lol which is probably why he keeps getting chance after chance to play for England

Oh and he has South African roots no pun intended which also helps

After all the Stokes fiasco and our ashes squad selection the Aussies go and heap a load a pressure on themselves with theirs.

Call up Paine to keep wicket who wasn’t even in his state side early this season plus hasn’t scored an fc century some 2006, their coach last got one in 2007, and then pick a lad to open who was playing at Denby as few years ago!!

Not really looking forward to BTs coverage, for all Skys faults etc they do sports coverage superbly well and their cricket team and coverage is probably the very best of the best. Will miss Beefy, Bumble and especially Mikey!

Seen bits of the womens games on BT and its not been great, going to adverts part way through replays etc. They even went with not bothering to show some of the games actually on TV but via Youtube whilst at the same time screening a show about what womens sports need to do to get parity with mens sports and tv coverage of them!!

Not sure if they have their own commentary team over there like Sky do or are going to use the Channel 9 coverage with their own pundits back in a studio....if that happens then we'll end up with the utter tool that is Mark Nicholas and i've no idea whats worse!!

Boycott is probably good for a few strategically thrown hand grenades, but the others seem less than inspiring to say the least...it's really put a bit of a downer on it for me before the series has even started

Think i knew about Vaughan, Swann and Ponting come to think of it as well as Alison Mitchell who is very good on Test Match Special. I looked at adding BT Sports to my Sky package for the Ashes but at £25 a month more i'll not be bothering. Will make do with access via the App on my brother in laws account and streaming it to the telly via my Chromecast!! Failing that i'll listen to TMS which is always good...maybe even watch it via the app with TMS for commentary if it syncs up ok.

When was that announced? Must have missed that!

I have come to like Nasser after hating him throughout his playing career. The only time Beefy is ever really humerous is when he's extracting the urine out of him.

BT signed a deal with cricket Australia a year ago to cover all home (Australian) tests and state cricket games, this of course covers the Australian home test games. I think the deal covers the next Australian home ashes series as well. They paid £80m for it which seems a hell of a lot for what basically is two ashes series.

Aussies are doing a lot of talking about us with Warner going on about Stokes, Lyon going on about how folk were scared by Johnson last time down there naming folk who dont even play now....always think that when you rattle on about the opposition its because you arent sure about your own team.

Not 100% sure why some of the pundits has us down as having no chance etc...i dont see them as much better than us and have as many selection issues as we do.

Everyone ready for the start of the season? Just over a month to go.

We got promoted last year but lost a batsman so still trying to replace but other than that feeling good.

We're 7 weeks in, I've made 5 of them plus a couple of bowling machines. But I think you've been playing as long as I've been alive so that's probably the difference.

We've got plenty of bowlers. Not concerned about our bowling attack at a higher level. A middle order bat would be really handy though! Haha
