The match v Durham at Derby tomorrow is live on sky due to the postponment of the Surrey v Hampshire match.

Glamorgans home match tomorrow also post due to the death of Tom Maynard

Maynard started with Glamorgan where his father was coach before moving to Surrey

If this had been some kid off a council estate his death would have been cheered.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Do you think? I don't think it would.

What looks suspiciously like a drunk driver avoiding capture by running away from the police believe me would not be described as a tragedy, it would be seen as justice if it it was some pikey ne'er do well.

So you aren't allowed to mourn the death of someone on the basis that you suspect they may have been up to no good. Ah the old two sides to every story syndrome. This chap wasn't just a "pikey ne'er do well" though, he was a talented cricketer who this country may have enjoyed watching, regardless he has passed away.

God Bless Sympathy.

I see where you're coming from but I suspect there's more to it that has come out so far.

Fingers crossed we improve tonight. 16 overs the same with the ball would be fine but the batting has to be improved on dramatically.

Why Hughes bowled that 16th (maybe the 17th) over I have no idea, very bad captaincy IMO

Agreed. No ball too for not having the requisite fielders in the circle is sloppy too. We look short of experience with the bat. Oh well.

Caught some of it on the tv, the lad looked absolutely devastated, understandably, when bowled on 99.

Was the first time I'd ever been at a cricket match where a player as chance of a 100, and in 20 overs!! Phenomenal hitting. The buzz when he was approaching 100 was amazing and the silence when he was bowled was palpable, before the deserved ovation

Different level but saw a lad do it in a local T20 match at our place last year. We hosted a group stage of the DCCL T20 comp and although Derby Congs got stuffed by Matlock in their semi final this lad smashed it to all parts to get to 100.

**Edit**
This was the game...next highest score by a batsman in his side was 11!!

I stuck to lager. Had a proper beer before in a pub in West Bridgeford before.

A couple of these England ladies cricketers are rather alluring. Happily make some room and show them all three stumps.
