Wow, can't believe how few hits they are getting...

County cricket really is on it's knees.

Not looked at the odds but Derbyshire will lose today. They don't seem bothered about the Pro40.

I don't think anyone is, maybe the Dutch who are using it as a training session for the World Cup but that's about it. Most of the Pro's want the 40 over game and 50 over one day games at Int level getting rid of and just sticking with the T20, County Championship and Tests. Use the 40/50 over game for the KO cup games and that's it.

I'd be in favour of returning to a fifty over knock out competition including the minor counties, Scotland, Ireland, Holland and anyone else who wants to play.

Looks like defeat now barring miracles from the 'People's Mullet'.

I spoke too soon, an over of filth from Mahmood and perfectly timed rain leaves us winners as it stands...

Only disappointment against lancs was bowling of rana naveed. Went for 56 in his 4 overs.

Clawed a few back with some rapid hitting just when required as the rain became heavier.

Been on the end of too many defeats by lancs to care about how we won last night

Yep....hopefully he will get better, if he gets worse we could be in trouble!! On paper we have a decent balanced side with both seam and spin options and bat a fair way down. My only concern is that if the likes of Durston dont get big runs we may struggle.

A point tonight will do. Distraught for Notts that they've missed out on a big crowd firstly by having it clash with football and secondly the rain.

If the weather's ok may look at going to Derby on Monday evening.

Won't be going but will be watching in sky. Decent forecast I think.

Didn't realise it was on Sky. May give it a miss in favour of TV coverage and go Wednesday v Durham.

Looks like the Durham game will also be on Sky now. They were meant to be covering the Surrey game but following the death of Tom Maynard last night that game, unsurprisingly, has been postponed so they're going to cover Derbyshire again.

Looking at the games to be played that day it had to be us or up sticks and move all the cameras and things to Chelmsford as the other two games wont fit the TV schedule.

North Group: Lancashire v Leics at Manchester
Jun 20, 2012 (17:30 local)
Midlands/Wales/West Group: Glamorgan v Worcs at Cardiff
Jun 20, 2012 (18:00 local)
North Group: Derbyshire v Durham at Derby
Jun 20, 2012 (19:00 local)
South Group: Essex v Kent at Chelmsford
Jun 20, 2012 (19:00 local)

Aye...not a great performance by Derbyshire. Not a great start with the ball, spinners got us back into it but then a poor last few overs meant we were chasing 20/25 more than we should have been. Then a really good start with the bat but a poor shot from the overseas and then losing Durston quickly after that did for us and we were always up against it. Had Khawaja not got out then i suspect that Ashraf wouldnt have had such an easy ride having to bowl at two set batsman as i think he could have been there for the taking.
