I don't need to H. We know it was JS.

If you don't follow instructions in your place of work, if you didn't listen, you'd be hauled in the office and got shot of. I know HB will come in here and say parallels can't be drawn between normal working practice and football, and to a degree he's right. The fact remains though, when presented with an oppurtunity to showcase their talents to a live worldwide audience, with a healthy chance of a nice win bonus, the players, playing the same system pull out all the stops.

It's not right mate, and it seriously concerns me, a hell of a lot more than the thought of JS being here next season.

I was thinking that the teams in the early rounds might have been left to either of the assistants to organise. If so, they did an excellent job.
JS would surely have run things for the final, and should take the credit, but I don't think the players have given less than their best.
JS keeps telling us the players don't listen, but he's had 30 players under him this season and they can't all be ignoring him. What exactly does he tell them? We've never heard what this match-winning advice is.

Not at all Chris, ( or should I follow the trend and call you Snell? ;)) his failings are glaring.

This season has been terrible and he must shoulder a large portion of the blame.

This is me questioning the attitude and application of so called professional footballers.

If our relegation had taken place on a short-term basis, with a settled group of players performing adequately for the most part yet suddenly capitulating for illegitimate reasons, then focus might fall upon them.

However how many times has the same team taken to the pitch? How many times has an individual appeared to excell only to be dropped the week afterwards? How many times have we been left baffled by a lack of consistency or logic in team selection? Nah, 'DWT', i'd put the attitude and application of the players pretty low on the list when it comes to reasons for our abject failure.

And of course when all's said and done it's the Manager's Squad, populated by the Manager's players, motivated by the Manager's methods.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

Why on so many occasions have they switched off. Today being a case in point. Twice we got ourselves in a position to win the game. It's happened all season long, and individual errors have been frequent and costly. How can these be attributed to Sheridan?

Fair point, and undoubtedly true of the defence. It seems every defender who's been tried this season has at some point made an utterly daft error which has led to a goal. And you can hardly blame JS if they aren't capable of concentrating for 90 minutes.
But EVERY defender we've tried? Something wrong there, and you hardly ever see opposing defenders making the same mistakes we make week after week. It has to come down to coaching and confidence, and something is lacking there.

JPT Success: Every player who played (mainly ones not in league team) as they were showing themselves hoping for a chance i the league.

League shortcomings: Sheridans choices(team selection), Jack Lesters diving, Danny Whitakers tackling, Greg Fleming and Krusty's mistakes, not having a striker other than bowery good enough for this league.
