Chesterfield manager John Sheridan is looking to make another loan signing to replace David Davis.
Davis was recalled by parent club Wolves this week after a recent spate of injuries at Molineux. The midfielder made 11 appearances for the Spireites since joining the club in January. Sheridan is in the market for a replacement and could have a new man in before the trip to Stevenage on Saturday.
"David did really well for us during his short time with us and it's a big blow, he is a kid that could play at a higher level. He's been a big part of what we've done in the last few games, and getting to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final of course," Sheridan said.
"But he's Wolves' player and he's going back to play in the first team.
"I hope he gets his chance to play in the Premier League.
"I think it's important I try to get someone in who is like-for-like.
"I didn't have time to bring anyone in before Preston (on Tuesday night) but I am making enquiries to see if the right player is available."
Lets all hope it's sombody good and they have a good Striker mate to come with them.
