In the 86/87 season Mansfield won the equivalent of the JPT beating Bristol City in a penalty shoot out, the attendance that day was 58'586, I would imagine the majority being from Bristol, although would be interested if anyone knows off-hand how many went from Nottinghamshire. looking at the video on youtube when they won the penalty shoot out, it was 3 sides Bristol one end MTFC.

Rotherham won it in the 95/96 season against Shrewsbury in front of 35'235 fans.

If Swindon and ourselves sell our initial allocation I reckon we will be able to beat the 86/87 attendance, Swindons allocation and 3 true blue coaches would beat the 95/96 one - so no brainer on that one.

Does anyone know if there are tickets allocated to others e.g. FA Schools etc that will increase the attendance?

Also bear in mind that the two matches you have sited were at the old Wembley where the capacity was 8,000 less than it is now!

Don't understand the relevance but in 1987 Wembley's capacity was around 98,000.

I lived in Swindon for a few years and you have no right to come on here slagging our town off, I actually liked Swindon for places like DnD (desperate and divorced) ask your mother she can tell you some stories about the place im sure, but apart from the outskirts of say Bassett and lyneham Swindon as a whole town centre is a sh 1 t tip, and all I can imagine about you after seeing your posts are 1 of the under 10's ninja warriors that used to hang around the car park getting a kicking of the squaddies. Even the Military pulled out of your area yet they put up with the dire of lets say for arguments sake " afghan " I think your as confused as the magic roundabout. Is the strip club still open opposite the college by the way ?

Having worked in Swindon about 15 years ago my redeeming memory was their pride of place was a part of the town centre called old town. Now those that have been will understand that it resembles chatsworth road 20 years ago. Alongside Peterlee and Hull, it has to be one of the worst towns in the country.

I can't read very well right now, but controversial as it may be (can't spell) I think Swindon will edge it. Lovely day out though, and I'll even get to wear my snazzy new dress.

Drunk people shouldn't use forums, sorry Dad and Harry :)
