It's one thing to ask a proven pro to play out of position, but Sheridan's asking inexperienced youngsters to adopt unfamiliar roles when they've all on just doing their normal job.

If he pulls it off the Manager can claim credit for his audacity, if we lose the blame has to lay at his feet.

Really getting boring, give him a chance.
Come on!

Who's on the left then? The way I've got it, is Davis holding, Drew right, Jamie left and Mendy behind the front 2.

I should imaging that we are playing three across the middle with Davis being the main holding player with one either side.

We battered them at the end of that half.

For me its a lot tighter tactics without us loosing any attacking threat (in fact, if we can play it right against a poorish side we should see more attacking than a flat 4-4-2 as the wide men we've got are poo as wide men go.

I know we've all called Sheridan a tinker man but for me Sheridan has put a good competitive lineup and tactics for the game in question. It wouldn't work with teams that can really hurt us down the wings with pace. We've just got to keep it tight (something that we haven't been doing playing 4-4-2 and we've got more than enough to do the business at the other end).

Long way to go yet and I'd feel better with the 2nd goal.
COME ON TOWN, WE REALLY NEED THIS ONE TODAY!!! (in-fact, after the Charlton game was postponed I actually took this as a positive as if Charlton had given us the run around it could have really effected our morale for this one, which is more important.

The last time I gazed at the 'in play' table showing us off the bottom it came back to bite me on the behind so I'm not looking again.

Fair points mate. I feel we need a second though, as clean sheets have been at a premium.

I'm assuming people are wanting a scunthorpe rochdale draw? and also a wycombe yeovil draw?

i always thing a draw is best when two teams around you are playin together. two one points are better than one three points

Sorry also meant to say that Sheridan has got to be on the boil 2nd half, because if they do have players and tactics to change around to exploit our lack of width then we have got to adapt; something that I think Sheridan is slow to recognise and respond to. Bury have made a sub, but thankfully like for like - seems that they haven't got anything to hurt us with out wide (unlike last year)
