They were doing some work on the Saltergate club this week, looks like it's going to be the site office, the car park in front off the kop is also fenced off

Just seen the pics. They dont look too bad to be honest, I had expected worse! I think the old girl looks better now than she did the last time I was in there...must've been about a year ago thinking about it. Back then there was debris everywhere and we even stumbled across a couple of gentlemen who were gutting the place for scrap...very sad. Looks very odd with the long grass though...a bit dreamlike.

Does anybody know if and when it is knocked down there will be timber available?

Would love to make some furniture out of the floor and steps to my seat> Happy days.

Go in and get it yourself. Plenty of ways in. I took my dog for a run on the pitch the other week. She even curled one down in front of the kop, proud moment indeed. :lol:

Saltergate club is totally seperate to the ground. White Lamb Const./Moorhay use it as their base until they get planning permission to build their own houses on it totally different and nothing to do with the ground
