It is likely that each transaction could take 2/3 minutes with alternative seats being sought when preferred seats have gone.
I could understand the concerns of people if there was a likelyhood of a sell out - that won't happen will it.
If you want to jump the queue get someone else to buy your tickets.
Its not the fact that tickets will completely sell out, its the pricing options which may sell ouit, and I`m a season ticket holder..why should I have to queue jump.
Normally Dave you post half decent stuff on here , let yourself down on this thread buddy. I wonder why?

Tues 14th South Stand STH - 1/3 of all tickets available to be made available for purchase for each price band.
Wed 15th West Stand STH - 1/3 of all tickets available to be made available for purchase for each price band.
Thurs 16th East Stand STH - 1/3 of all tickets available to be made available for purchase for each price band.
Also restrict the number of tickets to single figures and anyone who wants larger numbers would have to go on the second sales days for each of the stand or when they come on general sale.
Repeat the above the following week and also include the membership card people, but lift the restriction on the number of tickets available.
This way as many folks as possible get equal chance to purchase whatever price band of ticket.

As already mentioned by a few on here this no limit is the big issue but it appears from the post above its not the club applying this policy but under instruction from the league.

I can see the uproar when someone turns up on their day to find the 1/3rd are sold and they have to organise to come back the following week.
Not having a go but whatever options someone puts up on here someone will be put out and moan about it. Current way will upset season ticket holders in stands down the list, change the order and it upsets other stands, all season ticket holders and folk will moan when they have to queue for hours, add a limit on tickets per person people will moan that they can only get five for their family of 6 and one person will be forced to sit on their own etc etc....
I do feel for the club with these things as they are in a no win situation!!

Depends if you are happy to only be left with a choice of the dearest tickets, as all the cheaper ones have already been sold to glory hunters with mates with ST's in the South or West stands.

The waiting doesnt bother anyone, its not having the equal opportunity to purchase the more competitively priced ones that does bother.

If i'm reading things right is folk in the East stand not having a chance to get the £26 tickets....personally i think the actual lack of £26 tickets made available by the Football League is the bigger issue there. If my maths is right, and there is a good chance it isnt, of the initial allocation only 7% of the total tickets are actually £26 to start with anyway and folk will miss out.
All this said the update further up from someone who has spoke to the club and posted their response it seems a fairly decent way of going about things.

The idea of limitting the amount of £26 tickets per stand is a good one mind. a third to each stand would be fine.

For Wembley this is a pretty standard policy. Sold on a block by block basis and you choose a price and get tickets for whatever block is on sale at the time. I bought our NFL tickets last year and was allocated tickets in the same way. Anyone expecting to roll up having studied the seating plan for days and picked specific seats is going to be disappointed.

I think a proper seating plan of where and how much the seats are is needed before we rush on down to buy,up to now the cat 1,2,3,4 could be on the moon......

Do these additional £36 tickets become available immediately after the £36 ones have sold out.... or after we have initially been blackmailed into buying the remaining £46 ones??
