you really are a patronising (fill this space with your own choice), as a student you might have the time to be trawling countless websites, spending time on ebay, etc, most of my time is spent doing something constructive, WORKING, 10 to 14 hrs day, to be precise, getting up to start anytime from 3.30 am to 5.30 am and finshing when i'm done, and then getting ready to start again at stupid o'clock the next day, my weekends sre spent, spending
time with my family as i hardly see them in the week. so how do suggest i save my fortune,

what i'm saying is that everyone's situation is different you can't come on here stating you can save everyone money
without knowing each and everyone's personal situations, but your post's have come across like we are a wasteful bunch, and we need re-educating on housekeeping.

Those under 17 enjoy half price tickets.

what i cant get my head round is the stick the club are getting They cant win. We took 21K tickets and Wembley obviously decide which 21K they are. Not everyone will be able to sit exactly where they want in such a big crowd i.e Old Trafford semi final you Q'd for a ticket you got one fairness didnt come into that equation either. They decide not to create the chaos of previous ticket allocations and they get slated for that. The ticket policy of selling unlimited numbers is not the clubs decision its the Fa's. Now I take on board that family commitments may dictate the price range of the tickets and everyone is budgeting but there is only 1700 £26 Tickets regardless of how they sell them there is not enough of that price band what ever way you look at it. I am luckier than some of you I no longer have family commitments and if necessary will pay £46 if necessary but I will get in. This is Wembley not Saltergate We wont sell out we really wont

Prepare to eat your words young man. My first thought was that we would take about 20000. Given the apparent reaction I now believe we will take more than OT. Rule of thumb is 9500 at Gillingham game last season. Each of those takes an additional 1.5 people. Simples. How many do you know who are going who never go? We will sell this initial allocation.

I reckon we'll sell this initial lot too.

I think you will be correct Johnd, I initially estimated a mere 10-15k based on our previous visits, but I am now inclined to say Ive grossly under estimated.

The sheer volume of folks saying they are going and so is tom, dick & harry etc far outweighs anything Ive heard before.

Wembley 95 we took just one bus from Bolsover which was around two thirds full, this time we have two coaches full and Im referring people elsewhere.

I too reckon we will shift the initial allocation now.

ring up if thats possible, thats what i would do.
Now i dont want to sound unappreciative or anything but luckily ive been offered a complimentary ticket in the Bobby Moore suite, however i dont really care for all the posh seats, smartly dressed people and expensive food, i'd rather be in with our fans singing and shouting. Do i buy a ticket in our end or just be grateful for what i've been given?

Buy a ticket in our end hands down. Footballs about singing and shouting not corporate hospitality with people who havnt got the passion for the game and are just there on freebies for some free snap and booze.

Rather chop my arm off than sit with corporate, there type of people ruining football at the top level.

I spend no more than about 30 mins getting together my discounts for a weekly shop...
I list on ebay maybe once a month, which takes an hour or so. I do work as well, over Christmas I spent most weekends working 3pm-3am, back at 7am to midday, then back again 3pm-3am and so on... And I still found time to save/make money during that period, I don't think I had a day off for a month during peak season. So thanks for the jibe about how much I work, but I work damn hard.

And as for your last point, I know I don't know everyone's situation, that's why I invited people to tell me, being very good with money is one of the only talents I have, so I know I can probably advise at least 99% of people on how they can save extra money. I just did my weekly shop, at waitrose, for under £15, I can do it at Aldi and eat 3 meals a day, different meals, for a week, for about £8. I understand people all read things differently, that's why I've tried to make it clear what I mean in my posts, but obviously some have chosen to ignore that and take it all the wrong way.

That's not even true. Taste tests have been done across various supermarkets 'own brand' stuff and Aldi & Lidl were not at the bottom.

Fair enough, but how can you say they sell crap if by your own admission you've never tried their produce?

I thought that before I tried the place last year, when it was the only supermarket nearby, but most of their stuff is made on the same production lines in the same factories as the branded products. The meat there admittedly isn't as good as a butcher's, but is pretty much on a par with other supermarkets, and a lot cheaper.
My mum is in fact the biggest food snob ever, but once we got her shopping there she loves it, so if she can be converted I'm sure you can too.
