I'm not a season ticket holder, Loyalty Card holder or anything, though I do go to every home and some aways- it didn't make much sense to buy a ST as I was out of the country for the first couple of months of the season, and I missed the Loyalty Card offer.

So, I've roped in the missus and three relatives for the big day out, none of whom are regulars, and booked us onto a Bridge Inn coach- can't wait. Not for one second am I saying that myself+my group of hangers-on should get any kind of priority, but am I right in thinking that my only option is to join the queues on 21st Feb? If so, the only thing I can think to complain about is that there is no limit on how many tickets each person can buy.

Apologies if it's been covered above, but the tickets webpage suggests a few tickets will be available online. Anyone know when and to whom please?

Did they physically give you your ticket yesterday, or have you purchased it and collect it later?
"one day, we shall return" (edit - and so we did).

So it's because CFC only requested a total of 21,000 initially that there are so few £26 tickets available?

The main bulk of £26 tickets are in the top tier. Apparently the two clubs requested allocations, although i suspect there was more to it then plucking a number out of the air, and the initial allocation we got didnt include the top tier which is £26. Swindon appear to have taken pretty much all theirs in one go so will have more £26.

Now i'm not sure if the club are liable for the cost of unsold tickets etc which if they are would explain why we didnt request everything...but i suppose if you want it can be another stick to beat the club with!!

They were not giving out tickets today. The letter says they should be ready for collection tomorrow, but when I asked I was told that was very unlikely and no indication given as to when they would be available.

So around say 3500 season ticket holders (South and West Stand) can purchase as many tickets has they want some obviously for friends and family who have never darkened the doors of theb2net, before us East stand bods even get a sniff.
I would imagine due to the mass buying policy that most people who want tickets for the mid priced areas will have contacts in those 2 areas to snap up the tickets before they go on sale to East Stand ticket holders..this is effectively putting East stand ticket holders at THE BOTTOM of the list..it stinks..Whats the chances of concesionary tickets being left on the third day!!
I thought all season ticket holders where equal BUT in the words of ORWELL some are more equal than others!!!

Agree Mr M. ST holders should all be treated the same. So what if the ticket people have to do a little work. If the club wanted to go down this road then the people who paid the most for their ST's should get first pick. Our club however deems that those who paid least get first choice. The 10 tickets per person is absolutely stupid. how many of these tickets will end up with none town fans. Organisation, **ss up and brewery come to mind. Not unusual at this club though

question does anyone seriously think we will sell 20 thousand not including the next batch we are allowed to claim if we need them? Ok I take on board you may not be able to sit in the exact seat you have in mind but you will be in there surely that is what counts. In 97 we Q'd forever only to be told there was no 22 quid tickets left so I purchased a ticket at 30 quid I was more than chuffed to have one I couldnt pick the exact ticket and after I had bought one I found out Mr Kenworthy had boo booed and there was loads left. The club try to learn but still get slated for it. All this negativity aimed at the club I really dont understand. say every season ticket holder is allowed one ticket and there is 3500 of us and by some chance they all want to pay 26 notes there is only 1700 at that price therefore we cant all have the ticket we want can we.

as a ST holder in the east stand FAMILY STAND, will i be able to get tickets in the FAMILY ENCLOSURE at wembley(only 850 tickets available), if not why not, i should in that case be given priority for family areas as myself and my family already sit in that area, i don't want to be sat next to some pist up moron effin an blinding his way through 90 mins, and my family should not have to put with it either.

If it helps ya pal ..

I've had my tickets ordered today via this corporate letter thing (see other thread) so if ya want to pop down on the Tuesday to nab one of ya favoured seats you're more than welcome to take my two (south stand) season tickets with you?

BULK BUYING IS THE SCARY THING . Me my wife and three young children (yes we all attend home games and some away loyalty card holders )were hopeing for £36 tkts so kids could get a good view but when our turn comes round bet only top end prices left .plus by coach to wembley it's £125 on top of £46 tkts ....at that price we wont be going ..cant afford a best part of £300 football match . car travel an option but £27.50 to park car FFS.GUTTED COS I THINK IT'S A HOME MATCH .......watching it on sky.WENT TO BOTH GAMES AT OLD WEMBLEY but a shame i cant take my kids to see our team at wembley ...all because of GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY people in power

Are we sure the club even had a choice with the ticketing policy and its not the Football League dictating it. The fact that the club have to give details to the league for purchases of 10 or more etc suggests we've been told how to sell the tickets to an extent.

However as per usual whatever the club did was going to leave some groups room for a whine on here. Personally i would have thought that a limit of 4 per season ticket holder was more than adequate with exemption for affiliated groups like FA registered junior clubs etc to buy groups of tickets but i'm not sure the club had the power to say how they are to be sold in a similar way to the England game we staged when the club got no end of stick for adhereing to FA policy on ticket sales for the game.

Oh I'm sure the FL ordered us to sell our tickets stand by stand, get B****Y real

Your wrong

The best reasonable priced seats in the stadium are those higher up in lower section, about 8000 tickets

There is every chance that those will taken before season ticket holders in the East Stand get a look in

I think you may be surprised how many we sell

Have you been to wembley, the best seats are higher up in the lower tier and will go like hot cakes.

Also 1700 cheapest tickets are cheap for a reason, the view is rubbish, too low down and to far back form the field of play

I meant in terms of the bulk buying actually not the stand by stand thing. If you go back to page 4 you will see someone has phoned the club and got an explanation re the stand by stand order.

Also if we sell 8000+ tickets in 48 hours I'll be impressed as some folk will go for other tickets.

Swindon will have a lot more 26 quid seats than us I presume. They've been smarter than us. If we have restricted ourselves to a more expensive lower tier when we could have had a lot more cheaper seats made available then that's stupidity yet again from town.

Some legitimate grumbles and some taking the opportunity to have pot shots at the club.

If, and only if, we were limited to the 20k would I have any issue with the way it's been done. Everyone who wants to go will be able to. Not everyone will get their first choice of price but that's it.
