Yep....according to the seating plan for last years final and i cant see this year being any different other than £2 more expensive everywhere!!

I'm considering these for me and my brother but we are looking at sitting with 4 others and possibly one of those bringing his lad so will go with what they want to do in terms of price. What i will be doing is looking to avoid the £26 ones right at the front however.

If he was then that would be something for folk to moan about. I would hope that if he does this then he will be allocated tickets on the day of East Stand sales and no sooner!!

Looks like somewhere around blocks 118 to 121 i will aim for, just wish they would put an updated plan up to look at before i go and get them....

I think corporate and sponsors will have their own specific area - could be wrong though.

The CFC sponsors and corporate have access to all standard tickets this week.

To be honest regarding my original post if I have to pay for the top priced tickets for the family I would, but the idea that hundreds if not a few thousand non season ticket holders are going to have the choice of cost and have their tickets before season ticket holders get chance then that is wrong.

Agreed. Why should pubs and coaches get priority. This happened at me in the Semi final replay because of all the block bookings/ coaches (though I wasn't a season ticket holder at the time, but used to go every week). I was gutted that I couldn't get hold of a ticket.
I used to work in a garden centre at the time and we had a giant 4-5ft gnome who I did up with CFC gear etc and made a giant tear running down his check - everyone one felt sorry for me and wanted to help if they could, haha. It eventually did the trick in and I was sorted out with a ticket; though if the boss had have dropped in and seen him, I probably wouldn't have had a job to afford to buy the ticket

Fairest way to sort it out, in my view..

Tues 14th South Stand STH - 1/3 of all tickets available to be made available for purchase for each price band.

Wed 15th West Stand STH - 1/3 of all tickets available to be made available for purchase for each price band.

Thurs 16th East Stand STH - 1/3 of all tickets available to be made available for purchase for each price band.

Also restrict the number of tickets to single figures and anyone who wants larger numbers would have to go on the second sales days for each of the stand or when they come on general sale.

Repeat the above the following week and also include the membership card people, but lift the restriction on the number of tickets available.

This way as many folks as possible get equal chance to purchase whatever price band of ticket.

agree, that would sort it

For Wembley this is a pretty standard policy. Sold on a block by block basis and you choose a price and get tickets for whatever block is on sale at the time. I bought our NFL tickets last year and was allocated tickets in the same way. Anyone expecting to roll up having studied the seating plan for days and picked specific seats is going to be disappointed.

looks like it may be a case of you get what is being sold at the time rather than a choice.

To be honest dema, and I repeat I`m not 100% sure, but you opt for a ticket price, not a block.
East stand second class citizen.

To be honest i think you can use last years pretty confidently, things wont change at all i dont think. Appear to be a couple of sections of £46 with some more in the South East corner as well but in middle tier along with the bottom tier ones down the side.

Was sweet as a nut as far as I remember, for season ticket holders anyway, probably only around 1500 - 2000 in them days, remember walking up St Margarets Drive and queueing for about ten minutes, then being served in a room under the main stand by Hr Hubbard.

You will choose your price and get sold whatever block they are selling at the time in that price. It wont be a case of turn up and can only have a £36 ticket if thats whats on sale.

I would be very surprised if its changed massively from what is shown there as there isnt really much scope for change. The ground hasnt been altered in anyway since last years final!

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear, I was trying to respond to Dema's post about choosing his preferred block in a price range.

Sorry...yep thats how it will probably work although not sure how this is implemented in terms of the £46 tickets which are effectively in two different locations. I would guess it would be lower side of the pitch ones first then the corner middle tier ones but who knows.

IS IT AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK TO PUBLISH AN INTENDED TICKET SALES PROCESS TO ENABLE PEOPLE TO AT LEAST TRY TO PLAN A PREFERRED AREA.
God I hate this league.

Doesnt surprise me they have requested more than us, population of Swindon is over twice that of Town.

You cant have a preferred area though....only a preferred price you want to pay. You choose your price and get a ticket in the area that is currently on sale for that price.

Reading the link to the league website about it it appears club could request how many they wanted based on expected sales. Swindon have gone for all their tickets in one go where as we've asked for an initial 21,000 and then can have the additional tickets to match Swindons allocation should we need\want them.
