Or to put it another way, given the very real possibility, due to bulk buying, that genuine season ticket holders will still be at home twiddling their thumbs while people who have no real long term interest or allegiance to the club will have already have had their ticket of cost choice purchased for them, leaving east stand season tickets with a limited price option. Do you think that's right?

I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE REASON FOR SELLING IN B2NET STAND ORDER - I'D LOVE AN EXPLANATION BUT FEAR IT WOULD LEAD TO MORE OPEN CONFLICT.

THE FAIREST WAY WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL ST HOLDERS FIRST COME FIRST SERVED ETC. EVEN THAT THOUGH WOULD BE COMPLAINED ABOUT BECAUSE OF PEOPLE'S WORK CIRCUMSTANCES ETC.

WE SEEM TO DO THINGS VERY COMPLICATED BUT MAYBE THE I T SYSTEM HAS A BEARING.

I'm guessing that the reason to sell stand by stand, starting with the South Stand is about maximising ticket revenue.

No. If by end of play on the 14th, all of the £26 tickets, family stand area & the majority of the £36 tickets have sold out, it will have been a success (edit, for the Club at least).

Exactly as Newbold Steve has said. Purely to stop massive queues forming next Tuesday - which would then lead to massive complaints on here about having to queue, that the club has not provided tea and coffee and a bacon cob for those in the queue, that the ground was built with too few ticket windows so lets knock it down and start again etc etc

Yes but the Founder members (I'd imagine all also season ticket holders) put their hand in their pocket to help out the club to the tune of £400 for which they got very little apart from the satisfaction that they helped the club they love.

Chesterfield FC has launched a Founder Members Club for the new stadium due to be built at Whittington Moor.
It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to become one of only 500 Chesterfield FC Founder Members of the new stadium. Alan Stevenson, responsible for marketing the new stadium project said: "Founder Members get their name engraved on the commemorative plaque placed in the main reception at the new stadium and enjoy a range of other benefits as well."
The cost is £200 plus VAT for a range of member benefits.

These include:- priority for seat selection, season ticket prices guaranteed to be held at the same price for three years, free admission for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and pre-season friendlies, and there's more.

"Another benefit is that Founder Members get priority on tickets for cup games and other events at the stadium, such as pop concerts, and they will also get their name included in the 'Roll of Honour' in the commemorative inaugural matchday programme." added Stevenson.

On top of this there was a meal and first tour of the stadium, names on seat and the friendlies and JPT games were later stated as being free for life
