We wasn't aware of any outburst just the ref being called over and next thing sent him to the stand,my opinion he is justified to ask questions about a blatant penalty not being given,it was 2 bl@@dy handed, Gordan Banks would have been proud of,that lino needs striking off,he must have had a guilty conscience as at the end of both halves he flew up the pitch and down the tunnel out of sight.....i just wished he had kept running out of the stadium at half time.....

Outbursts? Old Harty could make Shez look like he was asking after the whereabouts of the gardening section in a library...

At least if the ref includes it in his report it will highlight there obvious failings,i think we won't hear anymore to this somehow

..... Rest assured, it was a penalty. What had the 4th official done wrong???
I am not questioning the 4th official and i was on away end so couldn't comment on anything that went off on half way,but i know what i saw right in front of me a blatant handball,it was as though the ref was waiting for the lino to say yes its a penalty and it did not come but he must have something against us because i found his decisions very baffling.....and what is more even more baffled how he flew off the pitch at end of both halves, something stinks and its not me......

So what's your point? On one hand you say "Shezza" crossed some sort of line, but then you offer your unconditional support.
Here's me: John Sheridan is an uncompromising, passionate, doesn't-suffer-fools-at-all kind of bloke. That pi**es certain people off, both within the cosy 'old school' Town environment and beyond. However he's delivered a championship winning team, and has shown definite signs of putting together a squad capable of competing in the third division. Including players that other clubs have washed their hands of. Would i invite him to a vicar's tea party? Nah, probably not. But do we allow him the license to manage our football club? Yeah, get on with it "Shezza".

It was the most blatant penalty I think I've seen for a long time. The defender pushed the ball down onto his knees with the palms of his hands right in front of the linesman.
They might have been the best team on the day but the best team doesn't always win and had the penalty been scored it would have been 2-1 with most of the second half to play and we were on the ascendency at the time.

I cannot be sure the ref had a good view as the player had his back to him but the lino like Sheridan said was 10 yards or so away,i know i criticise officials but the only opinion i can come up with on this lino is that he cheated, for whatever reason you will have to ask him,but how he ran the length of the pitch to get to the changing rooms at the end of both halves has got me very suspicious of him.....

He's having to stand on the side watching his team that was starting to win matches convincingly being outclassed in the first half. Then when we start to impose ourselves he feels that the majority of decisions are going against us.
The bloke flipped, all the emotions of the day got the better of him.
Its happened before it'll happen again.
