Forgot about this thread, had a few season long bets.

Man Utd, Bolton, Mk Dons, Southend(outside chance i know) to win their leagues.

Top scorers in each league also

Van Persie, Marlon King, Ryan Lowe, Daniel Nardiello.

think it was around £200 if all come in, maybe a little more.

Time for some proper season long accumulators now the season is underway - based on how things are when I put the bets on...

had to reduce the number of teams down as 15 selections came in at (about) 2,000,000,000/1 which is a bit daft when the most bookies allow you to win is £250,000

Anyway, this 9 fold is a little more realistic (although the french and dutch selections are probably a little unlikely, then again who'd have thought Montepellier would finish top last season...)

I've avoided Rotherham tonight despite the improved squad, there recent record at Northampton is terrible. I think they've drawn their last 4 there and not won in 6.

A good way to make some money for a season is a £50 bet each game week and do a 4 team accumulator put a couple of 6/4's in and your well away....

It isn't to hard to make anything in the season, you need to get 5 correct out of 46....it isn't as hard as you think to do....



Plus if you search the bets properly you can find some really quality bets....

A few years ago I had Wolves and Hull to win in a double....Wolves were top of the Championship and Hull right up there....they were both away and both priced 7/4....so I had a £100 double.....as they were playing teams at the bottom, Wolves won scoring 5 and Hull won and scored 4.....

If you study it you can do well....

I would go Doncaster to beat Bury @4/5
Oxford to beat Southend @11/8
Preston to beat Shrewsbury @23/10
Wolves to beat Barnsley at @4/6

I usually do a 6 accumulator as well but usually I just stick a tenner on. I'm just off to the bookies now so will keep those tips in mind. I got let down by QPR on Saturday for £150, was gutted.

I try to avoid away wins unless I really think they will happen, it's too much of a risk going for loads of away wins, look at Man U last night. So tonight I've gone for Watford, Wolves, Notts County, us, and Morecambe.

I then thought about how I expected Wolves to score on saturday and they had one shot on target all game.

I know what you mean about betting on us, it's so annoying when you just miss out and it's us that's let you down.

Like Saturday they let me down for a return of just under a ton for a quid.

That one dropped in for the double....

The Doncaster, Oxford, Wolves, Preston pretend £50 accumulator didn't tho, Preston would have let me down for £1163....

That sample bet was only done on spur of the moment if I had studied it for longer there were some other easy bets to take, would have gone Swindon to beat Crawley....instead...

checked my accumulator this afternoon and two russian games had let me down so thought that's it i've lost - strangely it's usually the early games that let me down, no matter who I have, it's like when you include a lunch time kick off on a saturday, when do they ever win!

So close anyway. Although if just one team would have let me down I'd probably have just got my money back.

I'd rather have a £1 bet to win a fair bit than have a lot of small bets and lose loads, or say £10 on something at evens. Also betting on under 3.5 and over 1.5 goals, plus going for double chance tends to pay off even though the odds are reduced. It's rarely that simple though!

Treble on Stuttgart, Malaga & Dinamo Zagreb getting me 16 Euros from a 4.50 Euro stake - shan't be retiring on that but a nice start all the same!

You couldn't have under 1.5 first half goals plus the first goal after 27 minutes as they're inter-related bets unless you meant to have it on another game and I've read it wrong?

Of course you can...what happened if it was 1-0 at half time with the goal scored in the 40th minute... so a goal after 27mins and less than 1.5 goals in the first half....

But the two bets directly affect each other. Bit like saying you want Rotherham to win "to nil" Saturday and both teams NOT to score, one bets almost guaranteed to be in if the other is.

Really lol....

You can have less than 1.5 goals in the first half....i.e it could be 0-0 at half time, doubled with the first goal after 27mins....i.e anytime after 27mins a goal can occur.....so the match could end 1-0 with the goal scored in the 89th minute and you would win the double....

As their was less than 1.5goals in the first half and the goal scored after 27mins....

I can't explain it any simpler



You can lose the bet easily, by more goals than 1.5 in first half, or the goal scored before 27mins, or two goals could be scored after 27th up to half time, ie 40th and 42nd mins etc hence more than 1.5goals....
