Looks a good signing as does Grounds, thought Westcarr & Johnson did OK without pulling up any trees.

I thought Drew, Mark Allott & Grounds had decent games.

A class player with good physical pressence. When we have Mendy down one wing and Westcarr down the other will we have the CM to utilise them? My suspicion is trhat if either of these two have to be make shift strikers Mendy is the better bet.

a good start, looks like he could be useful, good in the air, knows how to beat a man and get into the box, not afraid to get stuck in, faded (badly) 2nd half but he wasn't on his own, look forward to seeing more of him.

Will do well. what worries me is that he has been at the club training for a number of weeks now and he still looks woefully short of fitness. What has Nico been doing?

He showed a good deal of promise with his touches. Looks like a good addition.

 Big difference between being fit and being match.Lad started well and could have made himself a hero if he had converted the chance he got early on when he robbed their wingback. But stamina was lacking in the second.

He is a lot better than Bonnymans "hero" Morgan I could come on for the last 15 mins and just boot the ball forward, we need players brave enough to run with the ball

He'll have to play up front now so he'd better get fit. Agree that he disappeared as his lack of match fitness caught up with him.

Looked a good player today, but he should have scored and (generally) Daniels did well against him..

Like has already been said i was impressed, looks a good player and will no doubt improve as he gets more games, would probably have come off but for the injury to jack.

I really like him! Him and Grounds definitely look the best of the new 4. Westcarr seems a bit of a waste of space though :|

There's a very common misconception about match-fitness. It doesn't exist! If a player is adequately trained then he is fit enough or if not trained properly then simply not fit enough.
It's usually a lazy tabloid journalist or pundit phrase.

What's meant is confidence not fitness. It's the confidence to go for a ball ot tackle under pressure which isn't easily replicated in a training environment.

I suspect the English game is a bit faster and more physical that what he's used to, which is why he faded. With a bit more time to adjust though and get to know how to play (there was a few times he missed obvious runs) I think he'll be a proper asset. He showed some lightning quick pace at times.
