He's a right charmer our Tony. I'll not offer to buy you a pint at the next match then, I was looking forward to a really intelligent conversation with you, no doubt I will be able to catch you on Question Time at some point.

Scrubber is a horrible word, I loathe it, the females in 'Boza' use it frequently and I try and correct them to no avail.
I like to be called a scrufter too, my mates sometimes say "Jamie, you scruffy B*****, you could have made an effort" if we going to a party or a dou or something and when they do I laugh, they just dont get it, many of my mates are younger than me due to local football and such forth, they tend to pansy around inspecting each others 'clobber' and worrying if they look the part, no such problems for me.... everyone knows what im gonna turn up in, they just have a sweepstake on which black shirt I will be wearing :-)
I agree. Scrubber aint a pleasant word at all. Although I must admit 'shirter' is a new un to me. I'll play the game then and go for a 'maiden' t shirt at the minute, if any? Merely to hijack the thread and bring me on to the subject of whether you went to the arena the other Sunday? Went round to my sisters for dinner and Ant(Else) was gettin ready to go, sat in a box, free beer all night, the lot courtesy of someone or other. Must admit though if I'd have gone don't think a box up top is the optimal place for a gig like that. Down the front everytime.

Ant Else was supposedly coming along with us lot for a pre beer, yes I went, left just before the encore though, Id never got around to seeing Maiden prior to that gig so were a band I needed to chalk of before the grave.
I enjoyed them but wouldnt break the bank to see them, ie I wouldnt travel too far to see them, Airbourne I had seen twice before, I quite like their raw attitude and sound... but their sound is quite similar (with a few stolen riffs) to another band, the one band that I idolise :-)

Sorry. I'm a little confused about what you're saying. My 9 year old daughter wears a Town shirt, so that probally ( whatever that means) makes her a 'Shirter'?! If you're wanting a fight with her, I'm sure she wouldn't mind. But won't you be abit embarrassed when she kicks your bottom?

You'll be recognizable at Tranmere by your string vest, knee length brown shorts, brown socks and sandals I suppose.
Looking just like Rab of the Nesbitt clan. Ha ha

Aye....all four letters within first four of the alphabet and the 'C' used twice but no 'B' lol.
Spent far too much on them over the years and the wife says my obsession goes way too far!

Just refresh me what Captain Jack THINKS we should wear.
I wear the same thing as all the players wear, A Blue CFC Football Shirt. I obviously missed the bit on the label that said "Not To Be Worn On Match Days"
Please list my itinary for the first game????
