Collected both mine and my sons's "Old Bricks" from the North / West wall panels today and was well pleased to get them, especially as they have actually been part of the B2net stadium for the first season !
... and many thanks to "blueblah" for taking the trouble to save the vast majority of the bricks intact and put to one side for any supporters who would like to keep them.
The thing is guys, there are still loads of them just waiting for supporters to collect them, but it will not be very long now before they will have to be cleared out of the way and thrown into the skip !!!
If you are interested, just leave a message for "blueblah" and he will do his best to pm you with his phone no. so that collection can be arranged.
.... It will be such a shame if they are all thrown out, as most of them are still in brilliant condition.

My son reckon's he's gonna use his as a paper-weight on his office desk !!! lol

Many thanks "blueblah" ... it is much appreciated.

From what I understand, "blueblah" tends to be down at the stadium after tea time ( ish ) but not on every day, obviously depending on how much the work load is etc.
... so you will have to make contact with him on this board and then he will pm you his phone number.
In other words, no, you can't just pop down there ... you have to arrange a time.

The first two panels had a number of poor quality bricks .... like damage and a milky white appearance to the "glaze", so they have all now been removed and replaced with new ones ... and very nice they look too !!!

So, the "old bricks" have been saved by blueblah for those who want to keep them.

From what Andy (blueblah) has put on here previously the latest batch of bricks have come from a new supplier and the anti-graffiti coating has gone faulty and turned opaque meaning they are being replaced at the suppliers' expense.

Yes, just the first two panels out of the four ... mainly coz the 3rd and 4th panels have not yet been done, unless I'm mistaken.
