Well done mate.

How come you get £25 gift aid added by the way compared to the others?

Apologies but was done by the Ashgate "just giving" link rather than Howards.

It is if you're a tax payer. Didn't realise there was different percentages.

Is Howard doing something?

great cause and all, but is charity really the place for a bit of one upmanship? Are you 2 the new Smashy and Nicey?

hope plenty of people donate but some may not be able to

also if everyone else like me has loads of friends that are always after sponsorship for something or other then they may feel they donate enough to charity! Drag race, race for life, london marathon, midnight walk etc etc

good luck Howard and hope you reach your target, sorry to be a bit negative on a thread set up for a good cause

And why not..a very worthwhile charity has benefited due to message board "one upmanship"..at least we didnt hide behind the keyboard warrior thing and stood up to be counted...and I`ll hold my hands up I didnt think Spire12345 would..so rather than ridicule cartman..give a tenner

again, not really ridiculing, just not sure this is the right way to go about things

charity is a personal thing and people should give what they want to whatever cause they want, nobody should tell anyone what to give

however, publicising the event is fine and for that I commend you and hope that people see this thread and decide to contribute, might put a thread up in a minute publicising another event......

again, why should we apply differences in raising money for charity, give to what you want, it's all for good causes

<see other thread I've posted, also supported by the Club - well they've donated tickets for the auction anyway>
