Didn't look too bad scoring a hat-trick against Melbourne the other week but he's been something of a luxury at Perth apart from that. Still got the touch though.

Still, he'd put a few hundred more on the gate wouldn't he?

I'm not sure he would for more than perhaps his first game.

Part of what prompted my thread was the thought that we create so many chances that you'd think someone like would be a massive threat.

Well, he's still a proper sniffer so you might well be right. You would have thought that someone like Boden could learn a stack from working with someone like him too.

You say it might not put many on the gate but lets not pretend that signing Robbie Fowler wouldn't be one of the biggest single publicity events in the history of the club.

Also one of the richest footballers around after his many property deals, etc. and might fancy a bit of an investment in an upwardly mobile club when he finally hung up his boots
