Damn shame Davies was unavailable last night...think he would have really shook up their back 4.

It's interesting to note that there was no attempt to use the appeal process to free him up to play last night.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

What?

We appealed against the card at dinner time on Monday. It was turned down before yesterday's game.

Tuesday 8 June 2010

Dave Pace, Droylsden FC
Southport FC v Droylsden FC
Football Conference North, 20 March 2010
FA Rule E3 – improper conduct
Charge letter sent 26 March 2010
Charge denied the charge and requested a personal hearing

Pace was given a five-match touchline ban, to commence on the opening day of the Football Conference League season 2010-11, and was fined £300

I will add this one here, this is the latest on the disciplinary page of the F A,not sure if anyone else reported it on here but it made me smile.

I was looking if Davies 'appeal' had been added, and no it hasn't.......

it wouldn't be as there was no personal hearing and no changes were made to the original punishment

It seems if we'd requested a personal hearing Davies would have been allowed to play v Boro (but faced costs + increased penalty).

I think the case has to be beyond any doubt e.g. mistaken identity for the FL to consider a case without a hearing
