Well we've disagreed on other topics 'Azul' but not on this one. It's still early days but Allott has been consistently poor so far and his place should now be up for grabs. He repeatedly failed to use the wide men and when he did pass out to Hunt he consistently waited too long so that the opposition found it easy to intercept the ball. I was reminded of a comment on here from last season to the effect that 'Allott never fails to find a blue shirt'. Oh yes he does - frequently in recent games!

 Agree! Allott had a poor game by his standards.Mind you most of the passing was a shambles throughout the game opting to play a short pass to marked players rather than open the game up.Page seemed the only one intent in playing the long ball but to collect his long punts out to the left Griffiths needed to be 20 feet tall! Thought Allotts game improved with Niv's addition as we started to battle for the ball and set up some decent attacks.
Many a good tune

Allott appears to have aged 5 years during pre season in my opinion... moving around the pitch like Steptoe's old man....
