I used to have respect for the Irish but they need to get over it, they failed to beat a very poor France team that were humiliated at the World Cup by Mexico and South Africa, yeah Henry cheated but he didn`t knock them out single handedly, Ireland wern`t even winning at the time. France have been the worst team in the whole tournament and Irelands faliure to beat them in the play-off has done nothing but exposed them as a 3rd rate footballing nation and terrible losers, they`ve certainly not been missed at this tournament and they weren`t complaining when they had dubious penalty decisions going their way in the qualifiers.

No, even Roy Keane (Irelands greatest ever player) said Ireland didn`t deserve to qualify, and lets not even mention the Irish FA`s pathetic attempt to get the match replayed.

I bet you haven't let go the fact we lost the Semi Final tie in '97. Remember what it feels like to be robbed, you wouldn't be agreeing with yourself.

True it was gutting for a very long time afterwards although the Darren Brown debarcle left an even worse taste in my mouth.

The fact that calling Roy Keane Ireland's greatest ever player is nowhere near your stupidest comment speaks volumes. If you don't know what you're on about, keep quiet - not sure what you would do with your days though!

OK

so, In terms of players who have appeared for CFC and appeared in World Cups, are we talking 3 or is there more?
