Difficult to decide where to place a score board tho - the clock at Saltergate was over Compton so we could never see it.

I don't think it's needed. But then again I don't generally have a problem remembering the score during a match anyway ;) :D

If we are going to do it then i would expect that we would do it properly with some sort of scoreboard that not only shows the time and score but allows for score updates from other games at half time, advertising, messages etc. Not some half bothered little thing that would look completely out of place just showing the time and score.

We are having virtual stewards strategically positioned at the entrances of the virtual 6' high wooden fence.

Stupid question = Stupid answer. Where else but Wembley have you seen these types of fences you refer to ?

What fences did i refer to,I must be missing something. If you can't post a sensible reply don't bother.

I suppose these days the vast majority of people carry a mobile phone if not a watch so the need for a clock isn't as necessary as it was in the old days. Plus there is the issue of which side to put it on so most people can see it, i guess the best place for the near future would be to put it in a corner but then two sides of the ground probably wouldn't be able to see it, so perhaps not. We've all had to manage without a clock for the last few years, plus with the entertaining football we'll be playing from now on we won't need a clock as we won't be hanging on 1-0 ever again (fingers crossed).

I've noticed there seems an absence of any type of pitch fencing to stop the idiot factor from running straight onto the pitch. Will this be rectified or has this eventuality been overlooked?

football stadia design has moved on considerably, nowadays it is seen as more important to keep the fans alive than to stop the odd miscreant wandering onto the pitch.

Personally I think we should go back to the old days, what's it matter if a few scousers get crushed or yorkies burnt, I say bring back the fences and protect the sacred turf.

There you go, a sensible answer for you
