What ever you think about Mick MaCarthy he is funny at times and dry as a bone

In response to the referee’s 5 minutes overtime “He must be a masochist, get em off, it’s awful”

And is reaction to a Portuguese player being wiped out by a Brazillian in the last minute was classic

Press the blue button and you can choose to watch it without listening to the guy who makes poetry sound like a list of building materials, granted you get that Northern Irish buffoon from Radio 5, but that's not so bad compared!

May not be necessary, however, did I hear correctly that this was McCarthy's last match?

Press the off button would be another very good option

Don't know about it being McCarthy's last much but I wouldn't be surprised as we have to make room for the stupid scouser Mark Lawrenson

Hopefully every Chesterfield supporter of a certain age will remember his remark about Colin Tartt's leg being shorter than the other, "and he's playing like it" during the 1-4 replay defeat against LIverpool

never used to have much time for macarthy but as a tv pundit he does make me laugh as at least he has an opinion & will express it.
dont think he has much time/respect for jonathan pearce's opinions though & more power to him for that.

 Macarthy tells it "as it is" from a managers point of view.
Many a good tune
