That said when you look at footballers who do some stupid things outside the game, how much should those actions reflect on whether they are signed by prospective clubs. The issue of 'roll model' and the desperation of a struggling club all have different bearings on how you view the player but in the end is there a line you do not cross. Obviously the Prem players are 'money safe' but lower league players are jepodising their progression to that level of pay and some of the incidents which come to light seem to be so un professional and self defeating. I don't know about anyone else but is it a sign of the times or just bad judgement at the time in a media dominated industry.
