Whilst unlikely, i think there could be some mileage in this rumour.

Rotherham will not want to stay at Don Valley if they can help it, that's for sure, after all the pitch problems. When do they have to return to Rotherham by?

The housing market is not great at the moment. I don't recall the sale of Saltergate arrangements but if the club or the developers who own the Saltergate site can make a decent return whilst there's a depressed housing market then why not?

actually now I think about it....

Whilst whoever owns the land, they wont own the fixtures/fittings etc... (as already mentioned floodlights have gone)

turnstile barriers also going i believe...

Stevo is carving up the place like a Nazi surgeon selling stuff off... crash barriers and stand seats will be gone.....

And surely Saltergate turf will also be going???

Mind you... should all the turf go, it will at least make them feel at home.....

Slightly too far for me Dave.... reckoned it was gonna be close to 5 hours from Teesside!

Glad you had a good one.
