Those of you who, like me, are incredibly sad, will find this very interesting. We've now played 17 games since one of our matches was settled by more than a single goal. Incredibly, 16 of them have been wins/losses with only 1 draw. The last one that bucked this trend was Darlo in November.

We don't half like to keep things interesting don't we? Is this some kind of record?

Not bothering with draws is a pretty decent idea.

I don't think it's just us. Only Dale and County have massive goal differences in their favour.

It doen't matter how tight the results are as long as we keep getting great wins like today.

Notts Tuesday is massive but after that there is 3 games which on paper are very winnable, come the turn of the month we could be in a really strong position when we welcome Rochdale to Town.

if we win on tuesday we go 2nd, if we lose we could go 5th! Having seen county's goals just now the win wasn't the hammering i expected, one goal was a follow up shot from a penalty and another was down to dreadful defending, so if our backline concentrate for the full 90 we shouldn't do so bad. If we draw it'd be lovely if bury don't win so we keep 3rd place.

also having seen our highlights 2 of their shots that hit the bar cut have been prevented if gray would have done better, but i wouldn't think it'll be long until Whing replaces him anyhow.

I think it's only gonna be a matter of time before county get in the top 3 whatever happens tuesday, we need to make sure we get the 3rd spot long term, the return of bishop at bury seems to have coincided with them failing to score and i still think bornmuff will fail to cling on to an automatic place

one other thing, looking at the "run in" at football365 if we carry on our recent form we will finish 1st with 91points, a tall order but it's there. B)

Great website is F365. The run-in also shows that 'Season Form' means we will finished 4th with around 80 pts, while Bournemouth will finish 3rd with 82 pts. The last game is going to be one to remember!

On recent form - we'd be 10 points clear of 4th place!

Season form still isn't bad seeing as we were so crap away from home for most of last year.
