it's not always about how many games you turn upto, often it's the passion you feel for the club, Something from Reading your posts you lack.
We are all off to the B2NET

A fairer way to do this and generate more income for the football club would have been starting last week a voucher being issued at the match, hence 6 games before Bournemouth match....

Every home game then on issue a voucher...., once 4 vouchers have been collected then tickets go on sale to those that have 4, the following week to those that have 3, few days later 2 and finally those that have one last of all....any spare ones go to general sale the week before the game.

This would have boasted attendences at all the final 6 homes games, more income, more support, bigger crowd and a push for promotion....

Instead look what happens less than 4k at home for all the remaining games until the final match then everyone squabbling like children for tickets.
People who havent got season tickets at a disadvantage, people who have, being allowed two etc, the arguements whose right etc....

In general the club have failed to capitalise on much needed income as per usual.

Despite having a newly appointed Chief Exec and a Director of Marketing responsible for maximising income from our final season at Saltergate

This makes me laugh.

How the heck can a town fan possibly be called a glory hunter?
A new hope.

No one is disagreeing that the club could have maximised their gate reciepts by issueing vouchers.

However, the way you went about things was wrong by accusing Season Ticket holders of being glory hunters and then threatening the club that if you did not get a ticket you would not go anymore. Instead you could have used your initiative by not being afraid to ask friends or a season ticket holder to help you out.

I hope you get sorted with a ticket but you will need to make an effort just like every other true fan.

Irrespective of how it's done, if we did as the other poster said with voucher games there'd always be the fan that this system hurts - Saturday/shift workers for one - there will be at least a couple of thousand available for general sale, just play the system and get your postal application in.
God I hate this league.

After 1pm I think. Because it allegedly takes longer to pay on card.

What a load of crap. Their will be plenty of tickets left and folk have got plenty of time to get them. Go on your dinner hour, after work, saturday morning before a home game. I got mine last thursday at 5.30 and nobody was there. If you want a ticket then you'll get one.

These floating supporters probably havn't even thought about getting a ticket yet. I know my mates who are wanting to go havn't.
