It's embarrassing and doesn't exactly make for a hostile atmosphere.
How about we bring thing's into the 21st century?

I thought you were giving me a sarcastic alternative! To be fair, the cheerleaders (20+) work well in rugby league.
IMO, it's an American-ism - like goal music - that I don't think should be in football.
And as for my original point - kids dancing and singing is just not right.

I agree with Murray!
I'd add musical instruments to the list of things that don't belong at football an all

i believe you should do it well, or not at all.
It was fine at saltergate when all hands mucked in etc, but we are on the verge of something new.
Again, do it properly or not at all.
The days of the amatuer attitude MUST be left behind at saltergate.

They should introduce something more football related. A big TV screen would be nice showing our best goals but I suspect a big screen would be out of the question, too expensive.
We can't have loads of people on the pitch as we have to protect the surface so any ideas anyone?

The Spirettes girls give up their time and not only do this on matchdays but also represent Chesterfield FC at other events throughout the Summer at the majority of the Big Shows including Bakewell. They always take a table at the Player of the Year event and support most events.
They have represented Chesterfield FC in the Football League and have won for the 4th Year running the best Cheerleading and Dance team throughout the Championship, League 1 and League 2.
You often hear them shouting for the team when you muppets just moan about the team and performances, at least they get behind the team when they are losing and not playing well.
They do get applauded at games so some of you must be deaf as well. And for those of you that want scantily clad girls, there is a name for you.
O and let me finish on this is supposed to be a Community Club or is that going to be renamed at the new Stadium >?
