I suspect that chucking up the oversized meccano'esque framework is one of the quicker and easy in comparison to others type jobs when it comes to the building of the stands etc. As can be seen from the installation of the concrete base in the main stand that appears to be going a bit slower.

Drove past the old car auction site on the bypass today, a real hive of activity, builders like ants all over the place. That building is going to fly up.
The skyline will be so different around the whole area in a very short space of time.

The t/lights on Lockoford Road are due to be switched on this Sunday, and the new ones on Sheffield Road will be switched on 30/10/09. This is should enable Tescos to enter the site more freely delivering freezers units and the like without causing a major hinderance to traffic.
I'm getting some stick from the Greenways boys working on the site who are Burton fans,we better not lose.
