I still think the penalty was debatable tho, some refs wouldn't have given it imo, it was nice to see Allot drive forward with the shot, we need him to do this more often as he is clearly good enough to do so, i must have been more worse for ware than i thought as i couldn't remember Talbot going off

Perkins need signing up as he looks a class act

and was lucky to stay on the pitch for an altercation with 1 of there defenders following a corner, where once again they got the free kick he opened his mouth too much and for some reason there player got booked after the referee( had a shocker) spoke to both of them.
only minutes after the penalty decision.

I agree with you about the debatable penalty (can't moan but some refs wouldn't have given it) and Bowden's "goal". In fact we weren't great but the recent run of success has raised expectations. The manager wants the team to pass the ball, keep possession and work it wide. We did that well and in addition played Donal and Jack balls to feet, in space, in central positions on a number of occasions. Jack was poor and it was worrying to see him slumped in the dug out after being taken off. Our problems yesterday were that having worked good wide positions we crossed poorly. Lowry's squandering of a great postion late in the first half when we had four men in the box summed this up. In addition we still don't keep clean sheets. Those of us who went yesterday would still have presumably been frustrated with a nil nil draw but with two home games to come it would have been acceptable. Your confusion over Talbot probably explains your earlier post about Allott. He carries out the manager's instructions perfectly: keeps possession and is always available. He was excellent yesterday and Perkins was very good for 75 minutes. We've lots of reasons to be optimistic.

It's a good job for us that it didn't connect then, for sure Page would have retaliated.

It's a good job he didn't connect then or Page would be facing a 3 game lay off.
