Good God. One's a nog-off red beach ball, and the other's a football. Only that goalkeeper could go for the wrong one! :D

Is it just me or does it look like Glen Johnsen hits the beachball and the ball hits his leg and deflects past Reina. Very hard to see from the clips I've seen though. Might be easier to see it in slow motion. Funny it was anyway. I can't stand Liverpool.

I wonder how the young boy who threw it on the pitch feels. . . .

Why did Reina think the ball may not go where it did after colliding with 2 grammes of air and rubber?

lmfao thats made my day.

No doubt they'll be blameing everyone else for that goal...doubtlessly a scouser knocked it onto the pitch in the first place.

So awesome

Yep, A scouser hits the LFC LOGO marked Beach ball onto the pitch just a few seconds before the goal.

Poetic and all that
A new hope.

Apparently Manyoo fans will greet their scouse 'friends' with choruses of '99 Red Balloons' at Old Trafford next weekend.

Meanwhile Benitez is trying to sign a new defender: Mark De Ballon.

For our own part, i wondered if Richardson would try to sign the Beach Ball if still in management?

"I've not seen him play, but i've heard reports and he did score on his only appearance in the Premier League. I'll offer a three year deal on a hundred and fifty grand a year just to make sure he doesn't sign for anyone else!"
Never underestimate the stupidity of people
