I see Larkin has joined Roachie at Morcambe and scored last night against Burnley.
God I hate this league.

When I saw the title of your thread I was going to add 'No Thanks!'

The Northampton fans don't rate him, neither did I. OK signing for Morcambe I suspose.

Why? Are you thinking we might pinch him from under their noses?

It must be - the only other Mark Hudson has just moved for big money. I see another ex-Spireite played for them on trial as well - Steve Woods. Is this the first time a team has played 3 ex-Spireites as trialists in the same game?

Time is getting short now before start of saeson, we'll see the sudden rash of signings as players start panicking and take what is on offer.

There was a "Winter" on the bench as well - can't be can it - but then again it was always his best position.

colin is like a lot of lower league footballers who struggle too make an impact on a game to game basis on his day he has loads of quality,if anyone can remember when he played against west ham and bagged a couple he was awesome ,him and caleb ran the show and colin worked his socks off and looked like a top league player, morecambe will be his kind of team .
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

I remember the West Ham match very well; problem was (as you correctly stated) he couldn't recreate that kind of quality, week in week out in the League; he was the kind of striker (rather like Wilkinson) who required 5 chances before he could score. If he improves upon that ratio at Saltergate in the new season, we never saw that sort of form when he was here.

Is this the Hudson who was outstanding for Rotherham, in a 2-0 defeat of CFC at Saltergate 2 seasons back?

quote from morcambe fan assuming it same hudson as never heard of player with same name:

Nick Chadwick played tonight and did well

Colin Larkin from Northampton played well and scored against a full Burnley team

Mark Hudson also played and did well in midfield.

Darren Moss had a good game as did the new lad Laurence Wilson.

One of the worst signings ever and shipped 6 goals in his first competitive Spireites fixture; what became of his postdated claim for compensation?
