He still lives in town hence the connection still and his mega money move to Bradford all collapsed when most of their 1st team had to take massive paycuts and he thought that was better than what Rotherham had offered and that was very substantial and he wouldnt be shopping at Netto.
On the midf front Sheridan/Thompson have some good players in mind are all attached to clubs at the mo and they are seeing if they are going to be involved next season.
Hudson played very well last season for the Millers but he thought he was big and better than the club hence him sorting himself a so called deal ??

He doesn't live in Chesterfield.

Oh and did I say, he might be teaming up with Rico.....

the midfield pairing of Niven and Hudson was perhaps the best we've had in the last decade - and it was in a higher division.

I'm not sure about that, personally I preferred Allot & Niven.

Two things strike me regarding Hudson: the fact that he's being considered suggests Sheridan's scope is worryingly limited, and if he has something to offer why have Rotherham - a club at exactly the same level and with the same aspirations as ourselves - allowed him to leave?

I might be in a minority, but I thought Hudson was a good footballer, with a poor approach to the game. A big time charlie perhaps. Maybe a couple of tough, no nonsense coaches can get him playing at 100% each game instead of 70-75%.

I think MP was right though, maybe a step in the wrong direction for both parties.
A new hope.

this was always my opinion of him too. not sure how I'd feel personally about him coming back here, but I guess we'd have to trust Sheridans judgement? he may agree with you that they could get him playing at 100%?

Whatever the pros and cons of Hudson the footballer the truth is he would get booed by a noisy minority. I agree exactly with one of the previous comments. A lower league player 'blessed' with the ego of a Premiership footballer.

On that basis he might be more good to us than an ex-higher league player and former international content with drawing high wages for minimum effort prior to retirement.

Why, is Hudson playing for us? Did I say boo any other players? No. I said I wouldn't mind if everyone booed Hudson. But he won't be signing for us, so what's the problem?

I've never booed Robertson, btw.

Absolutely dreadful player.

Drifts in and out; mostly OUT. I despair that some Town fans actually rate this plodder. If Mark Hudson is the target of our ambition then count me out. He's not good enough.

I certainly won't be paying to watch him. Come on we can do better; much much better.

So do I at your comment.
If only....
