Thought we were waiting for a response from the football league, hardly the clubs fault is it.
But don`t worry Fishcake, the new investor has the insight and know-how to keep Mr Hubbard in charge so the club has a bright future to look forward to, Uncle Barrie will be at the helm for many years to come which is a godsend to all the proper spireites who attend games on a regular basis, Uncle Barrie will no doubt still be in charge when we reach the championship.

We will never have a better chance of getting out of this division than this and we've blown it!
So championship?? You anticipate your uncle to live a very long life then? Probably into three figures

Given 'Uncle Baz' has been involved with CFC for over twenty five years, why haven't we seen this "bright future" you speak of before?

When did you see this.
Someone posted a link to the Yorkshire Post suggesting things looked good, but that's about all I can remember

Not seen it mate, heard it. As I said to someone else on Saturday, how the hell can the league reject it with the number of Clubs going belly up on them.

How does point reductions make it easier to obtain promotion. We still have to play each team twice.

darlington had points taken off, and go from being above us to being below us. Not rocket science is it.

We do indeed, just like every one of the other 23 teams in our league. 3 teams started with a points reduction and 1 had it imposed part way through the season so without employing rocket science that still leaves 19 others to beat to the line in the race for promotion. Moreover, the fact that these teams have had points deducted doesn't actually give US any extra points so, as you've also suggested 'Dave ...', it is more likely to help us avoid relegation than to win promotion. Personally, I feel sorry for those who can't grasp this elementary point - or perhaps they just prefer to use the 'points reductions for others means we should have gone up' as yet another stick to beat the Chairman/Manager with whilst ignoring the fact that this argument applies equally to those other 19 teams?

I think the points deductions mask justt how far short we have fallen this season. without them we wouldnt even be top 10. Someone has to be responsible for this woeful underachievement.
