All 3 under a real manager with tactics would be like new players.

So no. I hope.

MAkes ma laugh when people say Currie is "idle"

Do you think he should play like Niven when he's out of possession?

He's not been played consistantly and when he has he has a case to argue that he hasn't been half that bad. A great ball from him set our only goal up at Grimsby (didn't go but check spireites world)...he is a classy player, not a grafter. And not lazy. More in a team that's playing horribly for his style of play.

As for Austin...PLEASE get off his back. He rarely lets anyone past him and he for me does a great job. Page on the other hand is a disappointment. But all 3 could and i think 2 at least of the 3 would improve under a new gaffer.

Currie should be seen as a pivot point, with:-

A forward dropping off his man.

A central midfielder making some runs into the box.

An attacking full back

Oh and a target man wouldn't go amiss.

I couldn't agree more. From what i've seen of page he's only interested in the money!!. Must admit that i've not been a regular this season, but what i have seen he's got no leadership about him and doesn't seem interested. I've not seen us this weak at back for long time, and can't remember us concede goals from set pieces at the rate we have this season. Surley at the level he's played he should be able to organise defending a set piece <_<, i don't think i've ever seen him pass a ball either, just "long ball" forward. As for Curry, well don't know where to start. for a dead ball specialist, winger, experienced player can't help but think he's only here for one reason. Another one that doesn't seem interested. At least austin seems to put bit of effort in. Ward leaving is a problem as without his goals and us being unable to defend we'll be in for few more disappointments

at the end of the day curry is a victim of being in the wrong team,he is a luxury player whos finest asset is putting quality in from out wide, well playing in a team that has small forwards and pumps the ball up to them every second as well as being unable to pass aint going to help him, richardson knew this when he signed him,he simply hadnt got the players to accomadate curry
