Not quite sure what to think really. Being honest im really pi*sed off at the sale of our przed assest again. I can see why its been done but i do think the fact we didnt offer Ward what he wanted, and yet we have cart horses like Currie and Page on wages that Ward wanted for isnt impressive. I think like with the Folan deal, we could of done more to keep him at the football club. He is the type of player i pay to watch, a flair plyer,a player to make something happen on his own, someone exciting to watch. Now what am i paying for, to watch overpaid tossers most of which arent bothered or fit to wear the town shirt turn out and aimlessely knock balls to the likes of Boden and Lowry whoever else Mr Richardson wants to stick up front.

All of this im putting down to the board, had enough of this Rico out stuff, time to look to the top for all decisions tht have been made, and it really points out t me we, as fans, are being taken for mugs. Hubbard has to go, he is the one our anger needs to be directed at, not only for keeping that idiot Richardnson in charge, but for everything, he has been talking the talk for far too long without doing much.

Sorry about the rant but, es much as i accept Ward may of had to leave a combination of things have really annoyed me.

Think you're in the minority. When we rejected the offer for Leven last season, most people were suprised and annoyed, but people defended the move citing that the club would've been criticised had they let him go. Any player who's out of contract at a League Two club in the summer, and gets a fee of £100k plus must surely be accepted by the club in question, especially with the gates well below budget. Addition to this, Ward was never going to re-sign for us (I doubt he would've done a u-turn after being frustrated with his previous offer from the club) and would've walked in the summer for much less anyway when Championship clubs started throwing their money at him - why keep him in this failing squad for 5 more 'playing' months?

All in all, the best of a bad situation.

;) Couldn't agree a contract extension, which was poor business, might have got more if he had! Therefore cash in now. As for Wardy if the Tykes have met his personal terms, why not. Gone from being a big fish in a small pool to a medium fish in a medium pool, one step at a time. Time is on his side.
Many a good tune

totally agree mate, the whole club is a joke at the moment. we will not be scoring any goals, and i cannot see us winning any games now at all to be honest. something has got to be done

10/10

But i'm convinced that even if everyone in Saltergate on Saturday gave it "Hubbard Out" for ninety minutes, they'd be wasting their breath.

I think 400k is a good price for him, it's enough to bring in at least 3 good players. It's especially good when it's for a small player that hasnt really done anything outside of league 2 and has a dodgy hamstring. Doesn't take people to forget their comments about him being not good enough when he wasn't scoring last season does it?

I also think 400k is a decent price for him, but can't help thinking that we have perhaps rushed into this one a little. It's only the 7th of Jan, and if the rumours of there being 5+ other clubs in for him are true then we could have seen a bit of an auction as clubs get desperate towards the end of the window.

If he does go though, good luck to him. Always given 150% for us.

Guess it depends on what the other offers were and whether the other clubs would be willing to pay more. Could maybe have got a bit more by waiting but if new players are going to be signed then we need time to do that. I wouldn't be against us saving the money for the next manager as nothing's realistically going to happen this season, get a few players in on loan.

Jack a good player that Rico brought in, name another 2. Then think what you said about bringing in 3 good players
