Sack the manager and give the money to the new manager right away.

If we do 'a', we'll have the problems that have occured throughout this season anyway, and would be back to square one. Replacing a good striker with a good striker wouldn't affect our situation.
If we do 'b', we'll end up with the flops that Richardson has brought in throughout his tenure here. We don't need any more failures.
'C' is the only option, but one that I doubt will occur.

I can only repeat something said by someone on another thread: it's got so bad that for the first time ever new signings at Saltergate are seen as a negative.
Richardson shouldn't even be at the Club, never mind allowed to waste even more money!!!

Has to be option C as the other 2 assume that Richardson is to remain as manager and if that is to be the case, then anyone with an ounce of business sence cas see that any money made in the Cup or Ward sale will have to be used in making up for continuing and deepening fall in attendances.

something i posted on another thread:
£300K - £70k to pay Rico and SS off (scott sellars notme by the way, although i'd gladly take half that to be banished from these board!)
That leaves us with £230k to pay these better players the new man would want to bring in, pay the higher wages a higher profile manager would command and his assistant he'd deinatly want to bring in.
Take off some to go towards the shortfall of the budgeted £300k loss this season and it doesn't leave much to increase the current wage budget.
