Your posting to say he'd been spotted getting on a Southbound train was at 1.17, I guess it's possible Ward could have had a busy day driving to Barnsley in the morning, then an hour in the gym then on the train...

The player could not visit Barnsley's facilities without the offer being accepted. It is classed as touting a player and unsettling him at his current club which can have consequences.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if he lets their deadline expire. I think there's a fair chance he'll jump in with both feet...

I think he will let it go by. Be the first sensible thing he has done in a while.

I know its not going to happen, but if he was to stay till summer and the fee was to be decided by a tribunal, would Torquay still get 25% of the fee?

Reminds me of the Brazilian Emerson's wife describing Middlesbrough as "A dark and terrible place."
Everyone thinks forgiveness is a lovely idea until they have something to forgive

...and their overpriced striker Georgi Hristov, who made himself very popular by saying that the women were too ugly in Barnsley
These go to eleven.

If we agreed to let him speak it's not a problem, even though I'm fairly sure that from january any player out of contract at the end of the season can speak to other clubs
