Had a walk in today and, despite my frustration at the timing of the 'End of an Era' promotion, i have to admit there's some decent gear in stock.

Infact my lad's Chrismas stocking is considerably fuller, and my wallet considerably emptier as a result of my visit.

Fair enough, i guess similar goods might be cheaper at the various sports outlets in the area, but, well, it's Town, isn't it.

So my point?

I suppose what i'm trying to say is that for all my/our criticism and cynicism, if we don't make it worthwhile for the Club to stock decent gear, we can't really complain when they don't.

Jim and Alan 'S' have done a good job, so get up there and part with a few quid if you can afford it.

PS: saw Bazza and asked if i could have one of those bricks in the wall with my name on it? He told me he didn't see any problem with that, infact given my stance on his recent performance as Chairman, i could have a whole breezeblock.

In the bogs.

Could have but there wasn't that much for him to do 12 months ago, fortunately he came back in the nick of time to give us the much needed help. we'd have been shagged without stevo.

I'm making good use of my new 'end of an era' mouse mat, it's a fair bit better than the bog standard Dell one i had before complete with coffee stains on it.
