Who cares, even if they did pay the rumoured £70 million+ it would be a joke. There is no way he is worth more than Zidane.

Come on then who told you this his fairy god mother,oh but you can't tell can you,you will be betraying a confidence,as far as i am concerned he is on a par with Hudson.

Where was your name mentioned in the post i was talking to stu?
To answer your question it came from A member of staff at the football club!
As for him being tarred with the Hudson Brush your well out of order saying C**p like that same can be said for many players who leave the club for higher divisions!! The list is endless as like may clubs.
Surpose you happy with another over 30 player in defence as well?
So we will have loads of pace in defence next season anyone who knows about football will tell you you need pace in defence more than experence!
You can get away with it if you have someone with pace and 2 over 30s we will struggle.

Absolutely no comparison at all between Leven and Hudson, can't believe you think there is SB.

Good luck Peter I'm sad we are losing a craching midfielder who I hope we can replace with a similar type player. The Club were brave to turn down the £100k from Brighton and I respected the Board & Ricco , for showing some ambition in the hope that by keeping one of our best players we could at least reach the play-offs.
Who can blame Leven for wanting to get out of this crap league and I wish him all the best.

Why ?

He had his moments which i think we can all agree which made our first choice centre midfielder

BUT

He was no doubt a real talent at Rangers pre knee injury which certainly robbed him of any real pace he had

So for me he now lacks the required pace and was often out muscled off the ball when it really mattered in our own half exposing a dodgy defence and his finishing was poor. That's not even going into him going walkabout when playing on the left

Should be interesting to see how he gets on playing alongside Andrews assuming that's where the Mk manager decides to play him

Good riddance if he wants to join that lot

Hope Ince leaves and they come straight back down, passing us on the way up...

With 5 more good signings by Rico I reckon your wish is odds-on to come true

Can't tackle, can't shoot, can't run, and can't last 90 mins ..... did'nt stand out in what was a mediocre midfield in all honesty.

Although this was inevitable, I'm still pretty annoyed about the £100k rejection 6 months ago.

He shouldn't be missed. MK Dons website describes him as 'energetic'. Hmm. Too anonymus too many times, with the occassional glimpse of talent being shown too infrequently.

One year contract too - he doesn't like to committ does he?

I'd like to say good luck, but he's signed for a scummy club so I won't.

I agree, Its easy to say turning down the 100K was a mistake now we have missed out on promotion.

BUT IT WAS....... With the lack of money in the game at lower levels, 100k is a decent amount for a player that in my eyes lacked concistancy. Dont get me wrong he was decent on the ball, but fadded in too many games.

Now if we got 100K for lester would turn it down flat. Every player has his price and im affraid Levens was 100k and we missed out.

Hudson was poor, Very poor. I was happy when he went. Leven would have been happy if he stayed or we got 100k for him. Free transfer you guys can make your mind up on that.

Have a look at the seasons goals, Leven scored some belters.

Just my opinion, but i quite liked Leven, and thought he was a usefull player.

I thought the fact was that they/we offered him a deal and gave him a deadline with the proviso that, after the deadline, the first deal would lapse and be replaced by a less lucrative one. A good idea, I thought, after we were fannied about with by Hall and Larkin last summer. Had we not set the deadlinbe we'd probably still be wondering on June 30th - as it is we can set about replacing him sooner.

Does that also cover us for the under 24 fee?
A new hope.

Was just gonna pick him up on that. I assure you, he could shoot. He was also a good passer of the ball at times.
