hooray well said,a sensible intelligent post.
the point is we HAVE done ok in the past which is why we are in the position we are in now, currently we are doing poorly which is why we are slipping and are now talking more and more about how other teams have fared hoping to get a lucky break and some breathing space.
our squad is threadbare,we have what would appear to be key players desperately low on confidence, our home record is miserable,we insist on playing people out of position, our tactics are patchy.i'm not saying any of this because i hate the club and want them to fail,i want us to build and improve but it wont happen if the club as a whole accept weak wet waffy excuses, unacceptable performance and pathetic excuses.
this division is not that good and we have the capability to gain automatic promotion,if we sort ourselves out.
and no the fans and the atmosphere is not an excuse.
and the bloke who said about doing his job without loads of people shouting his name does have a point, playing football is a job of work for which you get paid, that in itself should be motivation enough.its not good enough to turn up at your own place of work every other week and more often than not perform badly.
i'm sure people will disagree, take little bits and come up with clever arguments, but there is a very strong and valid point here, and it needs sorting.
